Chris currently lives in Folsom, in Northern California.
Chris has always enjoyed and studied art, drawing and painting. Even as a child, Chris did charcoal drawings of friends, family, and others.
For the past 20 years, Chris has focused on oil painting with palette knife.
Chris enjoys oil painting in a variety of styles, primarily impressionist and abstract. Her paintings reflect love, color, spirit, and energy. She finds inspiration from the beauty of nature, sunsets, the sea, and space.
Over the years, Chris has taken a variety of art and painting lessons, including oil painting from local artists Susan Sarback and Rhonda Egan. She continues to take zoom classes from Nemesh, who has been a featured artist at a gallery in Lahaina, currently living in New Zealand.
She is an active member of the El Dorado Hills, where she will be the Vice President for 2025-26, and Folsom Art Associations.
While she mostly does commissions to order, her paintings have been selected for a number of juried shows in the Sacramento/Folsom, CA area.
You can see some of her paintings displayed at the Folsom restaurant That Dam Place and at Narrow Gate Winery.
